Dr. Ramakrishna, CEO,
Zasya Life Sciences Says

Dr. Ramakrishna leads Zasya Life Sciences with a mission to drive innovation in drug discovery and development through scientific excellence and collaboration. With over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, he is dedicated to building high-performing teams and fostering an environment where scientific creativity thrives.

His journey began with a Ph.D. in Natural Product Synthesis from NCL, CSIR-Pune, under the guidance of Dr. Subhash P. Chavan, followed by postdoctoral research in Natural Product Synthesis with renowned scientists Prof. K.C. Nicolaou and Prof. David Chen Yu-Kai. He has worked with esteemed organizations such as FORMA Therapeutics, AMRI, and Aragen (GVK Bio). Before he found Zasya, he served as the Site Head at Piramal Pharma Solutions-Discovery Services (PDS), Ahmedabad leading teams in drug discovery and process development.

With expertise in medicinal chemistry, route scouting, process development, and kilo-scale deliveries of NCEs and API intermediates, his leadership is shaped by both scientific depth and people-centric management.
